Hello, I attached a high-DPI x monitor to my surface 3 - everything works great except Office , which looks blurry - it seems like Office is trying to set itself in high-dpi mode, the result is awful. We would like to know more about this issue to help us determine what's causing it. Are you experiencing this issue on a secondary display in general? Or is it just in Outlook ?

Was this reply helpful? Yes No. Sorry this didn't help. Some of the smaller pop up windows of windows 10 seems also blurry, although I have not analysed it in more details. But for outlook I have really compared the quality with and without entering a scaling value of , and it makes a difference. Please note also that I am not the only one experiencing this issue as you can see on the following thread.

Windows should be able to detect this on its own, without me telling windows "hey the two monitors are not connected", please use a scaling adpated for the laptop screen. If the Compatibility tab is not present on Outlook shortcut properties, try to locate the actual program on the installation folder. To do so,. As for changing the main display. Note: Windows will remember this setting so that every time you connect your external monitors, it will automatically switch the displays.

Please read again the thread I referred to. Another user facing the same problem mentions also there is no compatibility tab. I am looking to begin logging and monitoring with a SIEM tool. The two that I am looking at are Datadog and Blumira. Does anyone have any input about either of these SIEM tools that has experience wit Welcome to the first Spark!

Microsoft Office Windows This also happens with other images than the one that needs to be in his signature. It even happens in Microsoft Word, I tried pasting a few images into a new document and they all come up looking like this.

Here are some things I have tried to resolve this issue:. The Outlook menu tab text is overlayed onto the new message, the signature has an image in it but if I take out the image this does not happen. The same issue happening again. The issue occurs in Word with images as well. Any idea what might be causing this or how to fix it? The only change we made is that we upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10 and that's when this started happening.

When he sends the email, it sends fine with the signature intact. Does this happen if the individual logs onto another PC? What about for other people logging onto the affected machine?

We have not tested that out, yet. He is the only one that uses this machine. I will try soon and let you know the results. I tried adjusting the scaling but it did not help the problem. Assuming that there's nothing odd about the desktop hardware, and it's not too much of a pain, I'd be tempted to reinstall Windows etc. It may well save you time in the long run. You say you have done a quick repair of office, but have you tried the online repair or even tried uninstalling and re-installing office?

Did you find the fix for this? I am having the same issue.
